Here you can find a few nice applications made with X3D.
X3D is a language for creating interactive 3D applications.
Some of the apps here are usefull, some are artworks - it was an established artist
who declared one as artwork - and some are just for fun (game) or for beauty.
The works here are copyrighted by me and must not
be copied as a whole. For using parts of them please ask me, i'm generally cooperative.

If you want to see scenes i have created because i wanted to try something out, go to X3D Scenes.
To view the applications you need an X3D Player be installed on your computer.
An X3D Player is for X3D what IE and Netscape is for HTML: It shows you 3D content and
lets you interact with it. The one these applications work best with, and which
IMHO is the best one, is
BS Contact VRML/X3D.
TypeWriter
This allows you to type text like on a type writer. It is my idea how computer
programs could be designed: Unlike with usual software, the letters don't just
pop up when the user types, and they don't just disappear when they are deleted.
Every action is indicated by a soft and smooth transition.

Want to play a racing game? Here you can.
Material Editor
The Material Editor helps VRML authors defining all the parameters of the Material
node. When done the values can be printed to the console for copy-pasting. An advance of this is that while editing
one can see the material rendered in her favourite VRML player.
ChristmasStarField
During Christmas '03 the start page of this website was decorated with some animated snow flakes.
These can now be found here.
